Несмотря на то, что Etihad предлагает один из самых роскошных и революционных продуктов первого класса (в частности, First Class Apartment на самолетах А380), в своем хабе, Абу-Даби, у авиакомпании нет специального лаунжа для пассажиров первого класса.

 

Пока что пассажиры первого класса пользуются бизнес-лаунжем (я недавно публиковал обзор). Честно говоря, он совершенно не впечатляет; хотя те, кто летят первым классом, получают небольшие привилегии в виде бесплатных спа-процедур.

Etihad давно обещал открыть лаунж первого класса, но этот процесс все оттягивался и оттягивался, и многие считают, что Etihad просто не видит смысла открывать лаунж до того, как операции будут переведены в новый терминал.

Но вот появилось сообщение, что Etihad все-таки планирует открыть лаунж первого класса в мае 2016 года. На своей странице Instagram даже появилась фотография входа в этот самый новый лаунж.

Что ж, недостаток классных лаунжей – очевидный минус экспириенса Etihad. Похоже, в Etihad поняли, что это надо срочно исправлять – совсем недавно был открыт новейший лаунж в Нью-Йорке, и вот на очереди Абу-Даби. Будем надеяться, что это на самом деле произойдет в мае!
